          Cell Phones for Soldiers

If you have an old cell phone lying around the house, please consider donating it to help our US Service men and women. The donated phones help to provide soldiers with long distance phone cards so they are able to stay in contact with their families while they are out of the country.

The Monday Night Women’s Bible study

The Monday night Women’s Bible study is starting a new study on Monday, Jan. 12.  Please join us in Beth Moore’s latest Bible study, Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman.  This study is an in-depth and very personal examination of the Old Testament book of Esther…a story of threat and deliverance. We will peel back the layers of history and show how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today.

This is a 10-week study with DVD teachings and small group discussion on meeting days and personal homework through the week.  We will meet every Monday night from 6:15 to approximately 8:15 starting Jan. 12.  Childcare is provided.  Member workbooks will be available on the first meeting night for $16.  Please save a place for yourself at the study table by contacting Kristen Wood at kwood64@charter.net.  ALL ARE WELCOME!!!
