Vicky Alexander

Director of Student Ministries

Vicky is from Panama City, FL where it’s hard to beat the warm weather, fried food, and cool accents of walking on the beach. She moved to Alabama in 1997 with her husband Tracy. She is blessed and honored to be a step mom to her wonderful daughter Danielle Crofut and husband Eric Crofut. She has volunteered at GSUMC in many different aspects of the Children’s Ministries for the past 15 years.  Children's Ministries has always been a place where she has felt called to serve whether at VBS, Wednesday night activities,  or Upward and where she developed a love for God's children and a desire to help them grow in their own spiritual walk with Jesus Christ. She enjoys seeing and learning from the easy and uncomplicated love that children have for the Lord.  Being involved in Walk to Emmaus and Chrysalis retreats, small groups, adult Sunday school, and children’s Sunday school has helped her prepare for the “busy-ness” and excitement of Student Ministry.  Vicky loves the word of God, the beach, board games, music, college football (GO GATORS), and the outrageous minds of teenagers.  Her favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6
