Meet Our StaffDavid Tubbs - Senior Pastor
David is a Birmingham native, earning his Bachelors degree from Birmingham-Southern University in Political Science and History. He attended Candler Theological Seminary in Atlanta, earning a Masters in Divinity in 1988. His first appointment was at Canterbury UMC in Birmingham from 1989 to 1994, then was commissioned to plant a church in northwest Madison County.
David and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children, Julia Alton and Will.
Scott Clark - Associate Pastor
Scott is a Graduate of Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Sociology and Psychology. He has worked or volunteered in young adult ministerial roles since 2008 and was the Assistant Campus minister for the JSU Wesley Foundation since 2011. He also worked at The Bridge rehabilitation campus with young adults. He is attending Vanderbilt Divinity School to earn his MDiv. Scott and his wife Beth are new to the Madison area.
Becky Warren - Director of Adult Discipleship
Becky was born in Denver, Colorado and has lived in many different places due to her father’s military career. She and her husband, Andy, settled in Madison after he retired from the Army, and feel like they are finally "home." After nineteen years in nursing she is grateful for the opportunity to pursue her passion for adult discipleship at Good Shepherd. They have four adult children (Tiffini, Kristle, Chris, and Curtis, but have avoided the empty nest by becoming parents to their wonderful dogs, Scrappy and Gabby.

Brittany was born and raised in Huntsville Alabama. She was one of the first youth to attend Good Shepherd Church and now serves as the Director of Youth Ministries. She and her husband Chad live in Harvest and have three sons: Caiden, Cameron, and Fred Corbin.
Pam Moore - Director of Children's Ministries
Pam is a native of Syracuse, NY. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Political Science from LeMoyne College in 1997. As part of corporate company moves she and her family relocated to Huntsville, AL in 2006 and happily call it home. Prior to joining the staff she spent six years volunteering in event coordination across all GSUMC Children's Ministry Programs. She and her husband Tom live in Harvest with their five children: Ashley, Rachel, Sarah, Emma and Meagan.
Holly Sellers - Administration
Holly grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and earned two undergraduate degrees in Business (UT) and Computer Information Systems (Athens State). Holly, her husband Ray and their two sons, Zachary and Jacob, have been attending Good Shepherd since 2005, and after volunteering in the office for FIVE YEARS, she was officially hired in October 2011.

Brent was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and moved to Southside Huntsville at the age of 3. If you have never heard of Brent, just Google him! He married Jae in 2012. They have two dogs, Fred and Kate.

Ben was born and raised in Kansas. After spending a number of years pursing music in Nashville, TN, he moved to Huntsville in 2009. In 2010 he married Kelly, a native of the Huntsville area. Ben also works as a software developer, and his wife is an engineer. They have two dogs, Abby and Fatso.
Denise Marden - Accounting
Denise is a native of Florence, Alabama and earned her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University. Before coming to Madison, she worked as Manager of Financial Accounting for US Airways in Northern Virginia. She moved to Madison in 2002. Denise joined the staff of Good Shepherd in May 2008. Denise and her husband James have two sons, Jay and Nicholas, and live in Madison.
Matt Carlile - Campus Upkeep and Maintenance
Matt was born and raised in East Texas and moved to Alabama in 2007. He is currently enrolled at Calhoun Community College for a degree in Computer Networking. Matt is a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, active in all sports, and loves to compete. He is most proud of being a born-again Christian!
