Worship

Our services on Sunday mornings, are 9:15 and 10:45 AM (via the Capshaw Road entrance). You could probably describe this service as "media-based" or Contemporary. We sing a "juiced up" hymn every so often, too.

Upon your arrival, grab a beverage and a snack. The bite-sized, powdered donuts seem to be a favorite. You are welcome to bring these in with you to the sanctuary during worship.

Before the worship services, children ages 3-5 are dropped off in the Yellow Room while children grades K-3rd are dropped off in the Blue Room for J.A.M Time (Jesus and Me).  After the large group message and prayer, the kids travel upstairs to TREC Town for Small Group Lessons.  The 4th & 5th Graders can head directly up to Room 125 for their lessons.  6th Graders meet during 2nd Service only for Confirmation Class Preparation in the Fellowship Hall.

During worship or during the week, there is a place for your kids to be safe, learn and grow in their faith.

We offer Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month, and even though our children worship separately, we all gather in the sanctuary so families can partake together. Everyone is welcome to receive the gift of salvation that has been freely given. We serve juice and gluten-free bread, so if a child desires to take communion, it is up to the parent's discretion. All we ask is that when we come forward, we are truly sorry for our wrongdoings, and are willing to accept God's unbelievable gift of forgiveness.

Membership is not as important to us as a desire for everyone to connect to Good Shepherd through a mission project or a class.

See you in worship!
